Bernitsas Law advises Hewlett Packard on split of businesses

Bernitsas Law advised Hewlett Packard on the Greek leg of the implementation of the worldwide separation of the Hewlett Packard infrastructure, software and services businesses from the printing and personal systems businesses, a complex transaction resulting in two publicly traded entities with c$57bn in revenue.

The resulting entities are HP Inc, which is focused on PC’s and printers and Hewlett Packard Enterprise which develops IT, technology and enterprise products.

The Bernitsas team was led by Linda Vasaka. Lawyers from our Tax team advised on the direct and indirect tax implications arising and implementation of the split in Greece.
