Bernitsas Law is one of the largest law firms in the country. Working with us will mean exposure to ground-breaking transactions, pioneering advisory work, disputes which set precedents and a client base of leading national and international market leaders.
We are always interested in hearing from talented and dedicated lawyers with a strong and enthusiastic work ethic, whose aim is to develop their skills and knowledge and become active and valuable members of our team. We believe that lasting relationships with our lawyers are essential to providing the highest standard of legal services. Our aim is to attract individuals who share our vision and culture and aspire to thrive and develop their skills and knowledge within a firm which includes some of Greece’s brightest and most recognised legal practitioners. We are invested in promoting and supporting the continuing training and professional development of all of our lawyers.
Joining us will give you the opportunity to work with leading lawyers in a motivating and inspiring environment, where teamwork within and across departments is highly valued. We expect our lawyers to excel in the provision of an international level of service and to actively contribute to our vision of providing practical, individualised and in-depth advice and representation to our clients and assisting them to achieve their aims. We apply an equally exacting standard to ourselves to be reasonable and responsible employers.
We believe in investing in our trainee lawyers, giving them guidance and training to expand their knowledge and skills so that they gain the experience and confidence necessary to become valuable members of our team. We run eighteen month trainee schemes with two annual intakes and trainees are allocated to departments and rotated regularly. As a substantial part of our work is international in nature, a fluent command of at least English is a basic prerequisite. We look for candidates with a first or high 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level.
We apply a non-discriminatory, equal opportunities policy to the recruitment, compensation, advancement and progression of all our lawyers and staff. This is based on merit, qualifications and abilities and is irrespective of race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, gender, disability, age, maternity and pregnancy, marital status, religion, belief and faith, sexual orientation or whether they are a permanent, temporary, part-time or fixed-term member of staff or lawyer. We wholly comply with the legislation and regulations in place governing employment and implement best practices.
If you believe that you have the qualifications, enthusiasm and drive to become a valuable member of our team, please send us your curriculum vitae and a cover letter explaining why you want to join us and what you have to offer to firstname.lastname@example.org.
