Our practice has a tradition of advising on Human Rights and over the years have undertaken actions brought before the former European Commission of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg on the abuse and protection of human rights.

Our practice represents individuals, non-profit organisations and businesses on the impact of acts of the Government, State and supranational authorities and companies on human rights.

We advise on the violation of provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights, as well as the fulfilment of the admissibility requirements set by the Convention.

We have extensive experience in advising owners of commercial and industrial enterprises which have been nationalised before the former European Commission of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in respect of claims arising from the expropriation of their property as well as the violation of their rights to a fair trial and to effective national remedies.
