Law Firm of the Year: Greece at the IFLR European Awards 2017
Bernitsas Law has won the prestigious Law Firm of the Year: Greece Award at the 18th International Financial Law Review Annual European Awards, the winners of which were announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday 20th April, 2017.
The IFLR is the market-leading financial law publication for lawyers in financial institutions, corporates and private practice. Its annual Awards recognise the best work in both private practice and in-house departments, rewarding legal innovation.
Panayotis Bernitsas, Managing Partner of the Firm, said: “This Award for our work in the financial and corporate sectors is a great honour. The last year has seen the Firm working on complex legal issues and pioneering transactions. We have advised on several of the most prominent direct investments made by international investors within 2016, in the context of both the country’s privatisation programme and privately negotiated transactions, notes offerings, public offerings and liability management exercises by prominent domestic private issuers. We are thrilled that the IFLR has recognised our achievements by way of this Award and look forward to building on our strengths in 2017.”
Bernitsas Law consistently enjoys top tier recognition in all the practice areas ranked by the IFLR 1000, the IFLR’s guide to the world’s leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers.
